Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask

Let's start by saying that this mask smells yummo!  This is pumpkin pie goodness for your face.   If you are a fan of fall smells this mask will be a most have in your skincare arsenal.

Let get down to what this mask does for your skin which claims to work in three ways.

-This is a exfoliating mask that smells delicious as it works miracles on dull skin by polishing with the pumpkin enzymes which eat away at the dead cells.  

-Peels with alpha hydroxy acid which will improve the overall look and feel of skin by helping reduce discoloration, reduce the appearance of fine lines and aide skin in hydration and giving a healthy glow.

-Polishes with aluminum oxide crystals.







This mask is a burnt orange color in the jar and applies to your skin in the same way.  It leaves a orange tint to your face which leaves you wondering if your face will be red when finished
Application:

Tingles
In my opinion it burns like the fires of  hell as the enzymes do their job.  If you are used to facials you will understand that a little burn is good, maybe I have more sensitive skin but I held on and the burning sensation subsided at about the two minutes mark.

Irritation
The tingling sensation had me worried that I would end of looking like ripe tomato but surprisingly, all I uncovered was a healthy glow.

Thoughts
 I absolutely loved this mask in the end, it left my skin smooth, soft and with a healthy glow.  This smells delicious with a hint of nutmeg, pumpkin, and cinnamon.  I feel it has enough power to do everything I need in a mask.  The price point is 58.00 a little steep but taking into consideration the amount of product, it's priced just right.  I absolutely recommend this product to anyone who needs extra polish and rejuvenation to their skin.


End Note

This jar contains five ounces and will take me over a year to use with the little amount needed.   Keep that in mind when purchasing or like I do share with others.  I have seen this mask in a trio at Sephora's so this may be a option when purchasing in order to get more bang for your buck. If you have sensitive skin I would suggest doing a small patch test and remember if it is too uncomfortable immediately wash off.   Also remember to use sunscreen after using this product the next day  as your skin will be sensitive to sun due to the alpha hydroxy acid.
